I work long and hard, suffer through countless failures trying to beat bosses and finally get all the trophies to get the platinum. So let's says I play through the game and in my "Git gud" mindset, the only way to truly achieve trophies is to play the game solo. The tag line for most Soulsborne games is "Git gud". Just like I wrote to the other guy, why do you care? There are even people who whine about how hard it is because they, like me sadly, will never be able to achieve it. If I saw someone with that platinum I would be incredibly impressed, but if there was a glitch to achieve it then it is devalued. The platinum for Super Meat Boy, for example, is suppose to be a legitimately difficult challenge. I just don’t see the satisfaction? They didn’t earn it, so what’s the point? I’m not upset, I am just confused. I know people who’ve failed to achieve the Hollow Knight platinum, so they glitch it.
I like collecting trophies as a checklist, but just collecting them illegitimately for a larger collection is silly to me. I understand they’re pointless, that’s why I think it’s odd. I just think it’s odd to want to collect trophies while not earning them. There are quite a few reasonable scenarios. I think that’s a very reasonable reason to glitch for a trophy, you practically had it and the game screwed you over, so I’m not confused about that. So once again, good on you if you get a hard trophy on your own terms, but it doesn't matter if someone glitched to get a trophy too. That's when I realized trophies, xbox points, badges. He told me I was being lame cause I wasn't "earning trophies". I bought a crap load of Lego games on my Vita cause they were easy. He'll, I actually got into a race with my friend for a bit to see who could get the most plats. I then went and found a strat that allowed me to cut the time down, since I didn't want to spend another 45 minutes doing the same thing just to get a trophy.

Before it died, it knocked me far enough back that it restarted the whole fight over with full strength. I was trying to plat FF 15 and one of the trophies was fighting a huge turtle. You might think it's silly, but others don't. You're more than allowed to ask questions. When the day comes that my self worth is solely based on the amount of trophies I have and the method in which I collected them, then I'll be right there with you getting upset. And don't worry about other people and how they enjoy getting trophies. Be happy with how you earned them (cause that matters apparently). They just like having a made up number next to their gamertag. why do you care? It's not like their lost honor in your eyes means anything to them. If someone else glitched to get a trophy. If you got the trophy without glitching, great. The only person who most likely gives a shit about your trophies and how you earned them is you. Honestly, trophies are about as important as getting karma on reddit.

Speaking of not caring, why care how people get trophies?ĭo you care if people only go after easy trophies? Do you care if people use guides to get trophies? Should people only get trophies that they earned in Bloodborne without multiplayer help? FF7 remaster, should people not use the built in cheats that help speed the game along to get their trophies?
